being sick sucks

rargh. the title says it all huh. thot my sore throat was getting better but today it became much worse! must be i talked too much at og dinner yst haha. (which was good by the way! mike treated!) hmm anyway, week 1 at cgh has been pretty good, its really a super happy place la! we havent met a doctor yet who wasnt really nice (esp our neuro tut) which is kinda a change frm sgh where they all seemed very busy and in tremendous rushes and therefore abit impatient and fiercer. oh wells. all is good i guess heh. discovered the staff recreation lounge (and the glamazons!) and its been interesting to follow around on ward rds (tho im prob the only one who thinks so!) so yeahhh. been feeling more on to study as well! cos like we've been seeing stuff that require reading up and also there is qt alot of work we are expected to hand in or prepare etc so yeah. but despite my feeling really hardworking this week, i learnt tt actually compared to what is the norm, im actually (still) really slack! haha. but whatever la i guess i dun really care also, dont think its wise to go mad with mugging and stuff also. also, my new cg has been pretty rockin with nice funny people like soba and ramen haha.

sight of the week: clowns (act they were nurses! so poor thing haha) with balloons and patient svc centre staff lining the corridor and hip hop music blaring... machiam party liddat.... but no guests!!!!! LOL

oh and i went for my first bsf lesson on tuesday. was abit apprehensive cos i didnt know anyone so i guess i was abit dao haha (everyone always says i seem dao at first!dunno why also :p) yeah but it was just kinda an intro sesssion and my DL seems nice and so does the rest of the grp so thats good! yepps just hope that i would fulfill theobjective i set for myself when i decided to sign up for it!

ok here are soms pics of esthers bdae :) it was really nice despite the rain complete with a great band and performance by our very own star, touching speeches (by yours truly!!!!!! hahaha) and yummy cake and food! ill blog more abt it on her bdae itself la!
